National Conference senior leader and Member Parliament Hasnain Masoodi today sought transparency in the regularisation of daily rated, need based and casual workers.
“Authorities should strictly follow rules and regulationsand observe utmost transparency while processing regularisation of daily rated,need based and casual workers,” Masoodi said in a statement.
He expressed concern over the alleged attempts to manipulaterecords in some cases including central division, Dachigam, Wildfire Departmentto show those engaged in 2017 and afterwards to have been engaged prior to cutoff date in terms of government notification and those appointed before thefixed date to have been appointed afterwards so as to deprive them of thebenefit of regularization.
“There should beproper scrutiny of records including MRs so that none entitled to benefit underrules is deprived of the benefit nor anyone not entitled included amongstbeneficiaries,” Masoodi demanded. He impressed upon the PDD authorities toissue list of the workers from south Kashmir while issuing the list of thebeneficiaries from central and north Kashmir and not to defer regularisation ofworkers from south Kashmir.
