Authorities at Municipal Committee Tral have fixed rates for different services offered by barbers, including hair cutting and shave.
An order issued by President Municipal Committee Tral RakeshPandit said the hair cutting charges have been fixed as Rs 30, normal shave atRs 15, foam shave at Rs 20, threading Rs 20 (full) and threading Rs 15 (half).
The order said the rates were fixed after threadbarediscussion with barbers from the souther Kashmir town.
“Several representatives were received that rates ofhair cutting and shave are being charged very high are are not stable,”the order reads.
“For stabilization of these rates some barbers werecalled and upon threadbare discussion and negotiations were held,” itadded.
It said that any person charging rates more than fixed oneswill be dealt under law.
