Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Thursday expressed grief over the demise of Fatima Begum, the mother of PDP district president and DDC member Anantnag, Sheikh Javed.
A statement of PDP issued here said Mehbooba expressed solidarity with Sheikh Javed and his family and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul. The PDP statement said that the party also condoled the demise of the father of journalist Hilal Hanjuri.
