A militant hideout wasbusted by the police and the security forces in Sopore area of north Kashmir’sBaramulla district on Sunday, said a police spokesman.
He said the hideout wasbusted following a credible input in Rafiabad area of Sopore. “On a credibleinput Sopore Police recovered incriminating materials including huge cache ofarms and ammunition from the hideout used by the militants,” he said.
A case FIR No. 166/2019has been registered at Police Station Dangiwacha in this regard, said thespokesman. “Incriminating materials including huge cache of arms and ammunitionhave been seized by the police and taken into records for the purpose offurther investigation.”
The spokesman said thepolice officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances pertainingto this hideout. “Investigation in the matter is in progress.”
