A top police official toldGreater Kashmir that a search party of army and the state police was fired uponby militants in Nambalnar Kandi of Baramulla today evening.
He said the militants fledafter opening fire at the forces. “The entire area has been cordoned off anda search operation is underway in the area,” he said.
