Militants fire rifle grenade at joint army, CRPF camp in Pulwama village

Militants on Wednesday night fired a rifle grenade at a CRPF and army camp in Tahab village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Superintendent of Police (SP), Pulwama, Chandan Kohli told Greater Kashmir that a grenade was fired at the joint Army and CRPF camp at Tahab around 9:15 PM.

   

The grenade exploded with a bang and CRPF troopers on duty retaliated to the attack by firing towards the militants. There was no immediate report of any injuries.

The militants however managed to escape from the spot.

The army and CRPF personnel launched searches in the area soon after the attack.
