A family had a miraculous escape after a huge walnut tree fell on their residential house at Gund village in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district last night.
Locals said that the walnut tree came crashing down on the residential house of Javid Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Rashid Malik of Gund when all the seven family members were present inside the kitchen of the two-storey house.
SHO Police Station Gund Syed Arif Bukhari said all inmates were safe.
