Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday strongly condemned the “arrest spree” in Shopian and Pulwama ahead of the parliamentary elections in these South Kashmir districts.
“Stronglycondemn the daily arrest spree of youth from Pulwama and Shopian. Continuedrepression in #SouthKashmir is heart rendering (sic),” said the Mirwaiz onTwitter.
“Unless all those who claimto speak for fundamental #HumanRights of all don’t speak up, people of Kashmirwill continue to be at the receiving end (sic),” he said.
