Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was placed under house arrest on Friday.
Mirwaiz, who was allowed to address the Friday gathering at the historic Jamia Masjid after several weeks of house detention today, was again placed under house arrest, a spokesman of the amalgam said.
Pertinently, Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik has called for shutdown tomorrow against civilian killings in Kashmir.
