ML leaders lead processions, urge people to follow programme

Muslim League Jammu Kashmir, headed by incarcerated senior leader Masarat Alam Bhat, today appealed to the people to maintain discipline and strictly follow the programme given by the unified resistance leadership.

“In-charge chairman and president Muhammad Yousuf Mir addressed a huge gathering in district Shopian while as general secretary Muhammad Rafiq Ganie,  spokesman Muhammad Farooq Gotapuri and district president  Srinagar Manzoor-Ul Haq jointly addressed a gathering at Pandach here and led a procession which after passing though syed Fazal Abad Ahmadnagar culminated at Pandach Chowk. Incharge president of district Bandipora Ghulam Hassan Shah and his associates including Peer Abdul Majid and Muzaffar Ahmad led processions at Hajan and Bandipora respectively,” a spokesman of the ML  said in a statement said adding that “The leaders, while addressing the public meetings, vehemently condemned the atrocities and oppressions inflicted by forces. They urged people to maintain unity among themselves and demonstrate discipline while following the programme given by the unified leadership.”
