‘Nagbal youth stable, don’t pay heed to false rumours’

J&K Police on Thursday asked the people not to pay heed to false rumours on the social media regarding the death of a Nagbal youth.

“In a section of social media a news item is being circulated about the death of Mohammad Rafiq Parray son of Ghulam Mohammad Parray, a resident of Nagbal, Ganderbal, who was injured at Shopian on Monday. This misinformation has been disseminated by some miscreant to create law and order problem,” SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmed Poswal said. 

   

“It is clarified that the said person is alive and undergoing treatment at SKIMS, Soura,” the SSP said. 

“General public is requested not to pay heed to such rumours and action will be taken against the rumour mongers,” the SSP told Greater Kashmir.

Medical superintendent SKIMS Dr Farooq Jan told Greater Kashmir that the Nagbal youth is stable.
