National Conference’s women wing protests against unscheduled power cuts in Kashmir

The protest rally, led by MLA Habba Kadal, Shameema Firdous, was taken out from NC party headquarters Nawa-i-Subh to Polo View.

The women's wing of National Conference on Monday held a protest rally in Srinagar against the unscheduled power cuts across Kashmir valley.

The protest rally, led by MLA Habba Kadal, Shameema Firdous, was taken out from NC party headquarters Nawa-i-Subh to Polo View.

Scores of NC women workers were carrying placards and shouting slogans against the state government for power outages across valley.

Speaking on the occasion, Firdous said the people of Kashmir always witness such hardships during the Governor’s rule.

The protesting women also held candles in their hands as  a mark of protest against the power cuts.
