To mark the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, the Nature University on Wednesday announced the launch of its website.
“The 50th anniversaryof Earth Day is being observed all across the globe. This year the pandemic hasforced people to go digital and celebrate digital Earth Day. This open aircampus is now open for exploration with the launch of the official websitewww.thenatureuniversity.net,” said
NadeemQadri, founder of theUniversity, in a statement.
He said the University wasan open air campus which will have researchers from all across the globeworking in various scientific and geographic fields.
“This is a uniqueinnovation in education and conservation which is the need of an hour. TheUniversity is now open and people from all spheres can come together with usand contribute towards the nature. The University will bring the much neededchange in the field of education and conservation,” he said.
He said the Earth DayNetwork was an official knowledge partner of the Nature University. Thestatement said the University was also being partnered by some of theenvironmental organisations including the Earth Day Network – India (EDN) andSanctuary Nature Foundation (SNF), Mumbai.
