Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, July 18: The jailed National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan Sunday appealed Pakistan to take effective steps to draw attention of the international community towards the worsening situation in Kashmir.
In a statement, the party spokesperson quoting Khan said people had been offering supreme sacrifices to carry on their peaceful struggle for right to self-determination with the expectation that Pakistan would continue to extend its moral, political and diplomatic support to them.
He said that people were actively participating in protest demonstrations against human rights violations and atrocities on people. In view of this, he said, Pakistan should play its role to invite the attention of the international community towards Kashmir for permanent resolution of Kashmir dispute.
