NC concerned over mushrooming of political outfits in Kashmir

National Conference Monday expressed concern over the mushrooming of political outfits in Kashmir valley, saying it suggests nefarious agenda of inimical forces.

Addressing party workers from Kund, Devsar at Nawa-e-Suba,NC’s General Secretary, Ali Muhammad Sagar, said, “At present, we see variousamalgamations coming up in Kashmir only. The sole purpose of such politicalvagabonds is to rot the special position of the state from within.”

Interacting with the visiting delegations, he said, “Thereare forces whose sole agenda is to dilute the very pluralistic fabric of ourstate. Unfortunately such forces, who are inimical to the identity of ourstate, are using local henchmen to pursue their agenda. The mushrooming ofpolitical outfits in the valley is also suggestive of the nefarious agenda ofsuch forces as they want to demean and divide the voice of the people.”

Sagar said that only NC boasts the panacea for the plethoraof problems that the state is facing. “Our autonomy resolution isconstitutionally viable and practical. Keeping up our promise, the party cameup with an autonomy resolution during the Dr Farooq Abdullah-led government. There is no viable option available in place for autonomy. It is the onlydocument which satiates the development demands of all the regions of thestates,” he said.

The General Secretary also pitched for a popularly-electedgovernment in the state.

Senior party leader, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, ProvincialPresident, Nasir Aslam Wani, Syed Tauqeer, Syed Shafi and Imran Nabi Dar werealso present in the meet.
