NC legislator demands arrest of Sushil Pandit

Former chairperson of state women’s commission and National Conference leader Shamim Firdous has demanded arrest of Sushil Pandit for “portraying negative image of Kashmir” by false tweets” about Kashmir situation. 

“Though police has booked Sushil Pandit for tweeting fake news about death of five CRPF troopers at Pampore, but he must be arrested at the earliest to set a deterrent. This man has opened a front against Kashmiris as during TV debates, he portray Kashmiris in a negative way and harms their image,” Shamima said in a statement.  

   

Police have registered an FIR No: 49/2018 under section 505 RPC against Sushil. “Police must investigate whether Sushil belongs to some group which has been tasked to defame Kashmiris. He has been giving misleading statements blaming Kashmiris for migration of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir in early 90’s,” she added.
