NC’s Masoodi, PDP’s Parra indulged in bogus voting, captured booths, alleges Congress

The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has alleged that National Conference candidate Hassnain Masoodi and PDP youth leader Waheed Parra indulged in bogus voting and captured polling booths in Pampore and Rajpora constituencies.

A JKPCC spokesman in a statement sought re-polling at boothNo, 4,5,6,7,8 at BHSS Khrew in Pampore Assembly segment and at booth No. 113GHSS Niara in Rajpora constituency. “The NC Candidate Hassnain Masoodi, whobelongs to Pampore constituency, indulged in bogus voting, besides bringingpeople in vehicles from different locations to cast bogus votes on thesebooths. The NC candidate and his son Yawar Masoodi also fought with Congressleader and snatched his mobile,” the spokesperson alleged.  He alleged: “PDP’s Waheed Parra  had captured booth No. 113 at GHSS Nairasince morning. He used muscle power to overthrow polling agents of Congressparty, besides his close associates beat Congress worker ruthlessly, leavinghim grievously injured. Congress urges the Chief Electoral Officer andconcerned returning officer to order re-poll. The matter has already beenreported to concerned returning officer for immediate necessary action,” thespokesperson added.
