Need to revive Sufi culture: Renzu

Chairman of Jamaal Aitqaad International (JAI), Farooq Renzu Sunday said that there was a need to revive Sufi culture in Kashmir.

Paying obeisance at shrine of 14th century Sufi Hazrat Syed Mir Hassan Belad-e-Rumi at Rajouri Kadal in Srinagar, Renzu emphasised on reviving the centuries-old glory of Sufi spiritualism, a statement of JAI issued here said.

   

He said that the ideologies of hate responsible for the seven decades of turmoil were today feeling ashamed and regretful.

“The champions of hate have lost the battle against spirits of love who raised our Kashmir to heights of glory and made every village, every mohalla, every nook and corner as houses of wisdom,” he said in the statement.
