Chairman Kashmir Society international, Farooq Renzushah, Monday said there is a need to revive the period of ‘Sufiyat’ in Kashmir.
Addressing people at Niyama Sahib Shrine at Habba Kadal andShams Faqir Shrine at Khan Sahib, Renzushah emphasised on reviving the”glorious period of Sufiyat in Kashmir”.
“The arrival of Hazrat Bulbushah (RA) and Hazrat Amir Kabir(RA) shaped the real civilization of Sufiyat in Kashmir,” he said.
While appealing the Governor’s administration to repeal theAlcohol Bill in the state, he claimed that thousands of bottles of alcohol,wine and drugs are being imported to Kashmir since the Bill was passed.
