AIP chairman Er Rashid today appealed “every conscience bearing citizen” to join the AIP so that the party can better fight for political and social rights of people of J&K.
Rashid was speaking at a function organised to welcome many”prominent figures” who joined the party.
Among those who joined the AIP included former bureaucratShowkat Ahmad Zargar (KAS), Manzoor Ahmad Khan Ex Vice-President SecretariatEmployees’ Union, Nazir Ahmad Wani, social and political activist from Pulwamaand Mukhtar Ahmad Raja, former undersecretary education.
Later, Rashid inaugurated party office at Handwara and saidthat the office will act as public grievance cell for the common masses.
