NIFF delegation calls on Advisor Farooq Khan

A delegation of National and International Footballers Forum on Friday met Advisor Farooq Ahmad Khan to discuss various issues related football in—demanding revival of football and its facilities across Kashmir.

The delegation comprising B A Malik Chairman NIFF, Ab Hameed Banday, Advisor NIFF, Mehrajudin Wadoo International Footballer, Ishfaq Ahmed, International Footballer, Sajid Yousuf, International Football Coach, Hilal Rasool Parray, AFC Pro License Coach, Nisar Hussain, Football Promoter—briefed Advisor about the current scenario of football in J&K which is still most loved sport among the people of but has lost its sheen.

   

“Since the existence of NIFF so many football activities are taking place at local levels which was missing in the past and is the need of the hour for players,” they informed the Advisor.

“NIFF is conducting tournaments at different places and is getting tremendous response. The players and the fans love the football atmosphere which has been created at local level past couple of months by which one way or the other players are getting benefited,” they said.

Banday said how NIFF was aiming to revive football activities at Eid Gah ground–requesting the Advisor about the maintenance of Eid Gah ground at the earliest.
