No evidence linking Pakistan with the Pulwama attack: Pak Foreign Office

Pakistan has said that the initial findings based on the dossier shared by New Delhi don’t link the country with the February 14 Pulwama attack, a media report said today.

Islamabad has conducted preliminary investigations based onthe Indian dossier and till now Islamabad has not come up with any evidencelinking Pakistan or any individual or entity with the Pulwama attack, TheExpress Tribune quoted a high ranking official as having said.

   

The report, quoting the official, said that Islamabad isstill willing to cooperate with India if it had any additional informationregarding the Pulwama attack.

Report said that Pakistan Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjuahas shared the initial findings with India through its High Commissioner inIslamabad on Wednesday.

It said that Islamabad has acted with “a high sense ofresponsibility” and extended full cooperation.

Pakistan premier Imran Khan had also offered cooperation ininvestigation if credible evidence was provided by India. In response to thisoffer, a paper was handed over to Pakistan on February 27.
