Drug Control Department today said that during its drive in Ganderbal district it found chemists were selling face-masks at reasonable rates.
“News was circulated on social media regarding selling of masks by chemist shops at high price. In this regarding the drug Control department Ganderbal conducted special drive. No cases of overcharging were reported,” reads a handout.
It added that people are advised not not pay heed to these rumours. “In case of any complaint, aggrieved can directly contact Drug Control Department,” it reads.
