“There is no threat to Amarnath Yatris as reported by somemischievous media outlets…the pilgrims are very much safe in the Valley,” thestatement said.

It said “fake news and twisting of facts” has been the modusoperandi of “these” news channels and people of Kashmir and tourists haveunderstood it.

“Nobody is paying heed to their false reporting any more. Wewant people of India to come to Kashmir and stay here and to see themselves thesuffering people are subjected to,” the statement said.

It said tourists and Amarnath pilgrims visiting Kashmir cango to places of their choice and tell “actual ground reality” to people acrossIndia.

The statement said “some brains” have always been workingbehind the scene and framing policies to keep people of different states awayfrom Kashmir, to promote false propaganda about Kashmiris.

“Yatris and tourists should feel ensured that there is nothreat or danger to their lives in Kashmir and that they can perform theirreligious rituals without any worry,” the statement said.
