North Kashmir: Dozens of livestock dead in Kupwara fire incident

Fire broke out in a cow-shed during mid-night in Khurhama village of Lolab valley, locals said.

More than 50 sheep and goats were charred to death during an overnight fire incident in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police said.

Fire broke out in a cow-shed during mid-night in Khurhama village of Lolab valley, locals said.

The livestock belonging to Abdul Hameed Mugal. Police said the cause of the fire was being ascertained.

“A case has been registered and further investigations have been taken up,” he added.
