North Kashmir: Soldier injured as India, Pakistan trade fire along LoC in Uri

An army soldier was injured after India and Pakistan traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

“In a fresh ceasefire violation in Uri sector by Pakistan Army, an Army soldier was injured in Pakistan firing at Jane Peer Baba post in Uri sector last night,” said an official.

   

He identified the injured as Param Veer Singh of 17 JAT.

The fresh exchange of fire has created panic again in the area and locals have started to shift from the affected area.
