The body of an unidentified man, believed to be a militant,recovered in Sopore yesterday was on Thursday buried in Gauntmulla area ofnorth Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal said that so far no family hasapproached the police and it seems that the body is that of a militant, newsagency GNS reported.
SSP Sopore said that the investigation has been launched inthe case.
GNS, quoting its sources, said that a GPS, a matrix sheet, amap and two AK-magazines (60 rounds) were found on the body which was recoveredfrom a nallah in Mal Ganipora area of Sopore.
