Aspirants for the post of Naib Tehsildar (NT) expressed concern over “prolonged delay” in its selection process.
The aspirants said the NT posts were advertised in 2015 byJammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board. “The written test for the post was held on 27 April 2018 and resultswere declared on 28 September 2018. Thereafter, the interviews were completedby mid January 2019.
“Again it took four months to JKSSB to notify the dates forexamination of Urdu paper which was finally held on 12 May 2019,” the aspirantssaid.
The aspirants appealed to the Governor to intervene in thematter and direct for expediting the declaration of results.
PRO in JKSSB, Ashwani Hansa said: “There are certain reasons due to which the process istaking more than expected time. However, I am not in a position to explain thereasons for that.”
