On Centre's directions, EDB employees to get pension

In a good news for Ellaquai Dehati Bank retires, the bank on the directions of Central Government has started pension for its superannuated employees.

In this regard, a function was organised at the bank headquarter in Kashmir, where the bank functionaries gave pension orders to the retired employees.

Chairman of the bank, Arshid Hussain on the occasion said that retired employees will continue to be part of the bank and they would continue to guide the staff in order to help this bank to achieve its goals and excel.

On the occasion, General Nabard, Qamar Javid was also present, he assured that the NABARD would continue to work with the bank in order to give fillip to the economy.

Many retired employees of the bank on the occasion hailed the bank management for their magnanimity in issuance of pension for retired employees.

It is pertinent to mention that Ellaquai Dehati Bank was not offering pension services to its retired employees. However after the Supreme Court of India’s direction to Government of India asking it to pay pension of the retired employees.
