On Centre’s directions, EDB employees to get pension

In a good news for Ellaquai Dehati Bank retires, the bank on the directions of Central Government has started pension for its superannuated employees.

In this regard, a function was organised at the bankheadquarter in Kashmir, where the bank functionaries gave pension orders to theretired employees.

   

Chairman of the bank, Arshid Hussain on the occasion saidthat retired employees will continue to be part of the bank and they wouldcontinue to guide the staff in order to help this bank to achieve its goals andexcel.

On the occasion, General Nabard, Qamar Javid was alsopresent, he assured that the NABARD would continue to work with the bank inorder to give fillip to the economy.

Many retired employees of the bank on the occasion hailedthe bank management for their magnanimity in issuance of pension for retiredemployees.

It is pertinent to mention that Ellaquai Dehati Bank was notoffering pension services to its retired employees. However after the SupremeCourt of India’s direction to Government of India asking it to pay pension ofthe retired employees.
