Thousands of vehicles were left stranded on Jammu-Srinagarnational highway on Thursday due to landslides and shooting stones in Rambandistrict of Jammu and Kashmir.
An official said that landslides and shooting stones at IronStand Digdol blocked the highway last evening.
He said around 1500 heavy motor vehicles and 300 light motorvehicles are stranded between Seri and Digdol.
The official said that efforts are being made to clear the highway. He said no vehicle will be allowed to ply towards Ramban from Udhampur and Banihal side.
