Pakistan should rejuvenate its Kashmir policy: Salahuddin

Expressing gratitude to Pakistan for “unconditional and unflinching” support to the political movement of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the right to self-determination, conglomerate of local militant outfits United Jehad Council (UJC) Monday urged upon “Pakistan to rejuvenate its Kashmir policy in the interest of suppressed people of the Valley.”

In a statement to local news agency CNS, the UJC chief Syed Salahuddin while addressing a high level meeting said “Pakistan should expose the false and negative propaganda of India through its media and diplomacy. There is need for Pakistan to shun its traditional approach about Kashmir. It needs to come up with a robust Kashmir policy,” he added.

   

Salahuddin reiterated that Pakistan is a legitimate party to Kashmir issue which has always supported Kashmir cause morally, politically, diplomatically and socially.

“Kashmir is a flash point that has already become a source of war between India and Pakistan and still at this point of time, the clouds of war are looming over the border,” he said.
