Organizational General Secretary of BJP Ashok Kaul on Thursday chaired meetings in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district to review the preparations for the forthcoming Panchayat elections.
Addressing the party workers Ashok Koul said that the successful conclusion of the ULB elections was the victory of democracy and the nation.
“Panchayat election are the core of democracy and it has proved beneficial for general public as people directly get the chance to choose their leader atPanchayat level, who can mitigate their problems,” he added.
Koul said the aim of PM Modi’s Government and State administration is that the people in the villages should be able to take part in the developmental works themselves. “By working together with a strong strategy I hope that party will do well in the Panchayat elections,” he said.
