Inhabitants of Shah-i-Hamdan Colony, Pandach, have hailed deputy commissioner, Ganderbal for his “timely response” to their genuine demands.”
Abdul Aziz, chairman Intizamiya Committee, Shah-i-Hamadan Colony Pandach said the DC Ganderbal listened to a delegation from the locality and issued directions to executive engineer, PDD and other departments for “immediate redress of our demands.”
He said Pandach is run by two district administration i.e. Srinagar and Ganderbal. He said the locals had a number of times approached PDD, PHE, PWD, R&B authorities with different locality issues “but we were ignored due to the conflict of two district administrations.” However, he said that the DC Ganderbal after giving a patient hearing to the delegation from the area, “within no time issued letters to the offices concerned for immediate redress.”
