The parents of students enrolled in Minto Circle School here have complained of arbitrary hike in monthly tuition fee.
A group of aggrieved parents said the school was puttingextra burden on them by enhancing the fee “arbitrarily”, in violationof the terms and conditions set by the school fee fixation committee (SFFC).
“School management did not consult parents beforetaking any decision about hiking school fee or while taking any policydecision,” said a group of aggrieved parents.
They appealed authorities in school education department tointervene into the matter and put a check on the “arbitrary” hike infee by school management.
Chairman Minto Circle School, Muhammad Ameen however claimedthat majority of the parents have no grievances with functioning or decisionmaking of the school management.
“It is a group of parents who make unnecessary hue and cryover the issue. I am dealing with 2000 parents and majority of them are satisfiedwith our functioning,” he said.
He said the parents have already registered a complaint withschool fee fixation committee (SSFC) which has been responded by themanagement.
“The case is yet to be decided but we have submittedour report to the committee,” chairman of the school added.
