Reiterating that Articles 370 and 35-A were irrevocable, Chairman PDF Hakeem Yaseen has ridiculed political parties both at Center and state for exploiting this issue for electoral politics while ignoring the real problems confronting the masses.
“No one talked aboutunemployment problem, return of power projects, safeguarding water resources,tourism promotion and developmental issues but exploited Art. 370 and Art.35-Aas an election weapon,” he said in statement issued today.
Hakeem Yaseen said thatinstead of trumpeting to protect Art. 35-A and Art.370, which are undoubtedlyirrevocable, political parties contesting Parliamentary elections in the stateought to have manifested ways and means to provide healing touch to themiseries of the people who are being ruthlessly sandwiched between the gunsfrom two sides.
