People’s Conference (PC) leaders today held several meetings with its senior workers to begin its outreach in Charar-e-Sharif and Beerwah constituencies of district Budgam.
“The focus of the meetings was to activate politicalactivities and initiate a public outreach program to take forward the party’smission in delivering change on-ground”, PC spokesperson Adnan Ashraf Mir saidin a statement.
Speaking on the occasion PC leader from BeerwahDawoodLodhisaid that “PC is committed to channelize power of the common masses to bringabout a change. Our party is growing day by day and large number of peopleespecially youth are keen to become part of this movement for change.”
The Charar-e-Shariefconstituency head Aftab Mir on the occasion lashed out on previous NC, PDPand Congress governments for neglectingand failing to develop and showcase immense tourism potential of Budgam.”
“Previous representatives elected by the masses convenientlyforgot to address issues concerning the general public. PC will work towardsdeveloping tourism infrastructure and put district Budgam especiallyCharar-e-Sharif back on the tourism map,” Mir said.
