People’s Conference senior vice-president and former minister, Abdul GaniVakil on Thursday said that if Peoples Conference comes into power it would take concrete steps to root out corruption from the state and would strengthen the State Accountability Commission. He alleged that People’s Democratic Party and National Conference had crippled the SAC during their regimes as there are several cases registered with the commission against most of their party leaders.
He lambasted upon the Peoples Democratic Party and National Conferencefor turning Article 370 hollow as these parties together made 42 amendments tofacilitate the erosion of the special position of the state.
