Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) vice-president Abdul Rahman Veeri on Saturday hailed the courage and sacrifice of Tourist Guide Rouf Ahmad Dar terming him an emblem of Kashmir’s hospitality and helpfulness.
In a statement Veeri expressed grief and sorrow over Dar’ssad demise. However, he said that the entire state is proud of him and hisvalour. “He will continue to live in people’s hearts and minds and he has shownto the world the hospitality and generously Kashmir is known for centuries,”Veeri said.
The PDP vice-president also condoled with the bereavedfamily and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement leader FerozePeerzada also saluted bravery of tourist guide Rouf Ahmad Dar.
In a statement the JKPM leader, Feroze Peerzada, whilesaluting Rouf Ahmad for showing exemplary bravery, has said that he has keptthe flag of Kashmiriyat atop.
He said that JKPM leadership was proud of youth who keepservice to humanity close to their heart.
“This is called true Kashmiriyat and really he was a truehero,” he added while conveying his heartfelt condolences to bereaved family.He has prayed .
