PDP leaders hold meet in south Kashmir

Former ministers, legislators and senior leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from south Kashmir on Monday congregated to discuss and devise party’s strategy for the forth coming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, a  PDP spokesman said in a statement.

He said the meeting was chaired by the PDP vice-presidentAbdul Rahman Veeri, the meeting held threadbare discussions over the measuresthat are needed to be taken to ensure party’s impressive performance in thecoming state elections.

   

The PDP leaders who took part in this important meetincluded Muhammad Khalil Bandh, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Abdul Gaffar Sofi, MuhammadYousuf Bhat, Zafar Manhas, Syed Farooq Andrabi, Abdul Raheem Rather, AbdulMajeed Padder, Peerzada Mansoor Hussain Soharwardy, Aijaz Ahmad Mir,Waheed-ur-Rahman Parra, Sheikh Javaid and several others.
