National Conference on Sunday said the PDP has lost the faith of people for all the times to come, saying that the people of Kashmir in particular the people of south Kashmir have bade good bye to the deceitful and crafty politics of PDP.
While addressing aseries of public meets at Wachi, Shopian party’s provincial president NasirAslam Wani said that people of the state have bade farewell to PDP for beratingthe mandate of people. “Our party has been maintaining that there was no agendaof alliance. It was only a pretense which both BJP and PDP used to hide theirrespective lust for power. However afterthe coalition government fell, BJP functionaries statement affirmed our stand.We have been maintaining that the much touted AOA was just make-believe andfanciful thing that was deceitfully used by both the parties to conceal theiropportunistic politics,” adding, “This also raises figure on the veracity ofthe PDP as a political entity. People are feeling cheated, exploited, and bartered.The only agenda the PDP and BJP had been to blind and humiliate people. Theposterity will remember Muftis for unleashing CASOs, night crackdowns,blinding, maiming, nepotism, and cronyism. Future generations will neverforgive Muftis for berating and belittling the mandate of people which they hadconferred upon people in the last assembly elections.”
Flaying MehboobaMufti for shedding crocodile tears on the miseries of people party’s centralsecretary Sakina Itoo said, “Had PDP president and the ex-Chief Minister shedtears when our youth were devoured upon in 2016, it would have had any impact.One may inquire from her as to where was her concern for people when the peopleof Kashmir were subjected to worst of human rights violations. It was during hertenure that people were used as human shield; where her sympathy and empathywas for those who were blinded, bruised during her tenure. People are the goodjudge of character of PDP and its stint in power.”
“When enjoying the benefits of power, she had bolted hermouth. People who had voted for her, and reposed their faith in her weredejected by her changed outlook. People still remember how sordidly she mockedthe death and misery of hundreds of families who had to shoulder the coffins oftheir beloved, with her milk and Toffee remarks. People remember howappallingly she had asserted that the guns of security forces aren’t fordisplay but action. She shamelessly stuck to her chair when the youth who hadvoted for her were being fired upon. She didn’t have the gumption to bid goodbye to BJP when scores of our youth, and elderly were being blinded and maimed.On the contrary she barefacedly presided over the relentless miseries ofpeople. How can people forget her treachery and political duplicity?” she said.
“People remember how she failed to protect the sanctity ofour flag, stand for the interests of Kashmir when in government with BJP? Onthe contrary, it was she who allowed the implementation of SARFAESI, GST andNFSA in J&K,” Itoo added.
Among others south zone president Dr. Bashir Veeri, ShowkatHussain Ganaie, Muhammd Shafi, Sheikh Rafi, Shabir Kullay were also present onthe occasion.
