PGs complain KU exams delayed

Three years on, the authorities in Kashmir University are yet to conduct the 3rd and 4th semester exams of students pursuing MSc, MCom and MA degrees through distance mode in the varsity.

The students enrolled in Directorate of Distance Education said their courses commenced in 2015 but they have appeared only in first two semester exams till date. “Despite the passage of three years, we have not completed our degrees given the delay in holding of our exams by the university authorities,” said a PG student.

   

The students said they also approached the university authorities and urged them to conduct their semester exams. “The officials didn’t pay any heed to our pleas and our exams are delayed for unknown reasons,” said Urfi Bashir, a student.

The students demanded that their date sheet for semester exams should be issued sooner. “The delay in exams is affecting our career and will further delay our degrees,” said a student.
