Srinagar, Aug 15: On the I-Day, Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department held a ceremonial plantation programme at BSF camp, Botanical Garden here on Saturday.
The plantation programme was held in collaboration with divisional administration Kashmir and BSF, as part of the “Green J&K Drive-2020”.
During the programme, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and Chief Conservator Forests, Kashmir, SFA Gillani planted polypot saplings of Chinar and indigenous Conifers.
Conservator Forests, Srinagar, Zubair Ahmad; Commandant BSF Cheshmashahi, AS Narwal; DFO Urban Abid Nazir and other officers were present on the occasion.
