Plea against KCS judicial exam | Await outcome of decision in KAS writ petitions: HC

The High Court on Monday deferred hearing on a plea seeking scraping of KCS-judicial exams 2018 on the grounds that the Public Service Commission (PSC) has adopted digital evaluation of the answer scripts.

A bench of Justice Ali Muhammad Magrey and Justice RashidAli deferred the matter after advocate Azhar-ul-Amin, on behalf of the PSC,submitted that the decision on the plea about screening digital evaluation ofanswer scripts of KAS exams-2016 has already been reserved by Division Bench ofthe High Court.

   

“Therefore, the relief prayed for depends on the outcome ofthe writ petitions reserved (for KAS exams)”, he said. 

“Await outcome of decision in the writ petitions reserved.List thereafter,” the bench said.

Notably, the Division Bench has reserved decision on theplea against the screen digital evaluation of answer scripts in KAS examinationby the PSC.  

Advocate TA Lone, on behalf of the aggrieved candidates,submitted before the Court that the PSC has adopted the method of digitalevaluation for evaluation of answer scripts of KCS aspirants, terming it”arbitrary”.
