Police in Srinagar unfurled the triocolour at its offices and subordinate units.
SSP Srinagar Haseeb Mughal unfurled the tricolour at District Police Lines Srinagar and District Police Headquarters Srinagar.
SP East, SP PC Srinagar, SP North, SP South and SP Hazratbal unfurled the tricolour at their respective offices.
Police and other forces personnel participated in the Republic Day parades in all the districts of Kashmir valley.
Various contingents of Police, Armed Police, ITBP, CAPFs, Home Guards, Fire and Emergency Services, Forest Protection Force, students from various schools and Youth Services and Sports participated in the Republic Day parades.
In Srinagar, Advisor to Lt Governor Baseer Ahmad Khan unfurled the tricolor and took salute at the march past. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar was present on the occasion.
