Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was detained by the police late on Friday evening, a Front spokesman said.
He said a police team led by senior officials reached Malik’s Maisuma residence at around 9.30 pm and whisked him away.
“No reason was given by the police for Malik’s detention,” the spokesman said, adding that he has been lodged in police station Kothibagh
