Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday issued an advisory for the motorists intending to travel on new National Highway tomorrow.
The advisory has been issued in view of shifting of conductors of the 132 KV Power transmission line from the old tower to new tower at Gallander Bridge Pampore on new National Highway (NH-44) on Friday, April 26, said an official.
“All kind of traffic shall be diverted via Old National Highway stretch at Gallander & at Peaks Automobiles towards Panthachowk on 26.04.2019,” he said, adding that the diversion will be effective from 8am to 8pm.
Vehicles coming towards Srinagar from Lethpora side on NH-44 shall adopt old National Highway road at Gallander towards Panthachowk via Pampore.
Similarly, he said the vehicles coming from Nowgam Srinagar Bypass shall adopt old NHW road at Panthachowk towards Gallander via Pampore.
“No traffic shall ply on new NHW beyond Peaks Automobiles. General public are requested to follow the advisory for safe journey & any inconvenience caused is highly regretted,” said the official.
