Police officer among three cops injured in Pattan grenade attack

A police spokesperson said deputy superintendent of police Zaffar Ahmad and two cops who were part of a Naka party at Pattan were injured after unidentified persons lobbed a grenade towards the Naka party.

A top police officer and two cops were injured in a grenade attack in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

A police spokesperson said deputy superintendent of police Zaffar Ahmad and two cops who were part of a Naka party at Pattan were injured after unidentified persons lobbed a grenade towards the Naka party.

He said the injured trio were shifted to a Srinagar hospital for treatment.
