Police-public meeting was held at Police Station Yaripora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday, a police spokesman said.
He said that themeeting was chaired by SP Kulgam Gurinderpal Singh. “People from different walks of life besidesvillage heads, Panch, Sarpanch and civil society members of village Yaripora,Khanpora, Frisal etc participated in the meeting. Various issues confrontinggeneral public were discussed during themeeting,” he said.
He said thatparticipants were assured that their genuine civic demands would be consideredhumanly and will be brought before district administration for early redressaland grievances related to policing will be redressed in a time bound manner.
