A J&K police man died at police training school (PTS) Manigam here on Monday evening. The official was undergoing a training course at the PTS.
An official said, “A trainee head constable namely Abdul Rashid Dar of Samboora Pulwama, belt number 21/pl, who was undergoing a training course at PTS Manigam, Ganderbal fell unconscious during evening parade in the parade ground here on Monday.”
Though he was shifted to district hospital Ganderbal, he however was declared brought dead, he said.
Principal PTS Manigam SSP Haseeb Rehman told Greater Kashmir that the trainee cop “fell down suddenly during the parade session and became unconscious.
“The cop suffered a heart attack,” Rehman said. He said that after all formalities, the body will be taken to his home.
