A policeman was injured during clashes in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
A police official said that a policeman was hit by a stone in his head during clashes at Bona Murran area of the district.
He said clashes erupted after youth pelted a police party with stones in the village. In retaliation, he said, police fired a few tear gas shells.
The injured policeman was identified as Shanshah. He was rushed to district hospital Pulwama for treatment, the official added.
